Loïc Guézo
As Director of Cybersecurity Strategy, Loïc Guézo is responsible for overseeing Proofpoint's strategic development with clients and partners in Southern Europe, as well as acting as an expert representative within the ecosystem.
With 30 years of experience, Loïc Guézo advises large companies on their cybersecurity defence strategies, and ensures that Proofpoint's clients have a consistent view of today's advanced threats and how to protect their people, data and brands to be better protected.
Previously, Loïc Guézo has held various positions in the IT industry since 1988, including at Trend Micro, EDF (nuclear control system) Sagem (NATO design engineer), Agence Française de Développement (Overseas IT Manager) and IBM France (CTO Security Services).
Recognised as an expert in the field of information security and risk management, Loïc Guézo is regularly interviewed by the international media and press agencies and has been identified as one of the "Top 100 French Cyber Influencers" in 2019.
Since 2023, Loïc has been Vice President of CLUSIF (the leading association for digital security in France, with 1,200 members) and also Lieutenant-Colonel (RCDS) of the Gendarmerie Nationale, attached to the Gendarmerie Command in Cyberspace (COMCYBERGEND).
