The 2026 conflict was the first large-scale war integrating AI and cyberspace operations into the kill chain from the opening hour. This session identifies the chokepoints that geopolitical fragmentation exposes in digital infrastructure. From an offensive cyberspace operations perspective, it maps how state actors exploited concentration in communications, supply chains, and control systems — and delivers four governance actions for cybersecurity leaders and their boards.

About The Speakers

Dr. Gazmend Huskaj

Dr Gazmend Huskaj heads Global Cyber and Security Policy at GCSP in Geneva. A military veteran with five years in conflict zones, he served as Director of Intelligence for cyber issues within the Swedish Armed Forces and led the UN Security Information Coordination Cell. His book Organizing for Cyber Power is forthcoming with CRC Press. He holds a PhD on offensive cyberspace operations, MSc degrees from Leicester and Stockholm, CISM certification, and is a Harvard Kennedy School alumnus.
