Mark Barwinski
Global Head of Cyber Operations at UBS AG
As the Global Head of Cyber Operations at UBS AG in Zurich, Switzerland, Mark is responsible for strategy and transformation of the Security Operations Center, and driving development of cyber capabilities through organically developed supervised machine learning and artificial intelligence enabled tools. Mark’s previous roles in Europe include Global Head of Cybersecurity Protection and Detection at Siemens (Germany), and a variety of advising roles as a CISO and Cyber Security Director at PwC Switzerland. Before emigrating to Europe, Mark spent nearly 12 years in a variety of technical and senior leadership roles at the National Security Agency (NSA), where he began his cyber career developing offensive software capabilities at Tailored Access Operations (TAO) – the elite NSA hacking team. He was recognized by General Alexander, Director NSA, for outstanding contributions in Computer Network Operations (CNO) two years running (2007-2008). As a cyber “civilian”, he volunteered for two tours in Afghanistan supporting cyber intelligence operations and spent two years representing the NSA Threat Operations Center (NTOC) to Canada’s Intelligence Agency – Communications Security Establishment (CSE), closely supporting joint operations and FVEY collaboration.
Johan Bjerke

Johan Bjerke is a Principal Security Strategist working for SURGe, Splunk’s strategic security research team in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a researcher and contributor to Splunk’s security Rapid Response events, is the lead developer for Splunk Security Essentials, the most popular app on Splunkbase and is an active contributor to the global Splunk and Security communities. Johan is also chairing the Splunk Security SME community group in EMEA.
Daniel Caduff
Deputy Head of Secretariat at FONES
Daniel Caduff is a political scientist and a digital native. He earned his master’s degree at Zurich University, focusing on security-policy. After some years in consulting, he joined the Swiss Federal Office for National Economic Supply in 2014 as a project manager for the Swiss National Cyber Strategy. Today, Daniel works as the Deputy Head of Secretariat at FONES, leading the cybersecurity team. He focus on strengthening resilience for critical infrastructure suppliers against cyber risks in a holistic approach. Daniel is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is a member of the Steering Committee for the Swiss National Cyber Strategy and a member of the Industrial Resources and Communications GROUP (IRCSG) at NATO. He contributes regularly to national and international cyber- and security-policy conferences.
Julien Chesaux
Head of Cybersecurity at EHL
Julien Chesaux is the Head of Cybersecurity at the EHL Business and Hospitality School in Switzerland. Prior to this job, he worked for a Swiss-American cybersecurity company, NGOs, and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. He publishes in a variety of magazines and think tanks, speaks in international conferences, judges cybersecurity competitions and exams, and teaches cybersecurity, cyberdiplomacy, and cyber geopolitics for the UN notably. Julien obtained his Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Aberdeen after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations from the University of Lausanne. He is CISSP, CISM and Security+ certified. Currently, he studies an EMBA.
Michael Doujak

After his studies at the ETH Zurich, Michael Doujak went through various positions. For 20 years he has planned and implemented different projects and solutions in the field of Identity Management. Particularly noteworthy are 10 years in the banking industry in the area of IT infrastructure and security. He was responsible for the development of SwissSign as issuer of qualified certificates in Switzerland, the development of the EPD infrastructure and the referral platform solution of the Swiss Post. He is a profound expert in the field, from the underlying technology up to the business use cases. Michael Doujak is currently working as Product Manager for Airlock at Ergon Informatik.

Fabian Gasser is the Head of SOC at Open Systems and responsible for the design and delivery of its Global Security Services. Protecting multinational corporations of all industry verticals, the OS SOC spans three continents and eight timezones. Fabian's expertise includes scalable system design, security and operations. He has a background in software engineering and architecture. Earlier, he conducted cybersecurity research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) within machine learning and digital forensics. He holds a MSc from ETH Zurich and is a Fellow with UNITECH International.

Craig Gibson is the Principal Threat Defense Architect of Trend Micro Research. He has been a United Nations Delegate to China. He has co-published research with Europol cybercrime and United Nations counterterrorism, telecom, artificial intelligence, and robotics entities. Craig’s research is in 5G/6G, telecom, identity, autonomous vehicles and drones, national identity, public sector, and cascade failure. As a serial entrepreneur he has been on multiple private and public sector boards.

Andy Harris, Inventor of the MIMESweeper series of products (MAILSweeper, WEBSweeper etc) has been intrigued by cybersecurity from a war dialing attack to modern day ransomware. As CTO of Osirium he understands how privilege on victim systems is the key goal of attackers, how they obtain privilege and how they use it for lateral movement, and in some cases to disable protection from anti-malware. Andy still codes, has an active github account and manages a home network of over 150 devices.

Olivier Martinet

Olivier Martinet, after studying Latin & Computer Science, spent a long time at HP Europe being a specialist in Unix performance, kernel & clusters. He then branched out being a Chief Visionary at the HP Innovation Centers Worldwide, created in 1999, advocating the use of technology to C-Level customers. He joined TX Group in 2014, to be an Enterprise Architect in the Infrastructure team with a little 20 percent security.. After a major attack and with the support of the top management and a very creative CISO, he was able to help completely flip security at TX Group and turn it into a world-class security with some very unconventional approaches. He currently acts since April 2022 as the Group CISO at TX Group (formerly known as Tamedia AG) Switzerland’s largest private media company.
